This is an authentic Japanese Kabuki Tea House taken from a Japanese tea garden in Pasadena. It has a lovely outside covered deck which feels like you are floating in an oak forest. You are fully immersed in nature in this unique home.
This is on a 13 acre ranch with 8 artistic cottages and lots of parking. All the structures on the property were built by artists, are very rustic and each has its own whimsical character. The neighbors are far away and the house far off the road so there's lots of privacy. There are also over 100 oak trees and sculpted streams below. In this canyon there are even places where you can be in rocky areas with a total canopy of green above.
While a potential client may be renting one or more specific cottages for interiors they have the whole 13 acre property for exterior shots.
If you need a rustic and forested location this is the place. We have had directors re-write their scripts because they fell in love with this place. We had a Levi's-Global photo shoot here. They were looking for a place that could be anywhere in the world and they said this place has that sort of quality.
We have hosted many film and photo shoots here. Recently we had the artist Milck shoot a music video here.
We are now dedicating the property exclusively for location use.
Unlike many super rustic locations we are literally only 15 minutes from Santa Monica, Malibu and the 101 in the valley.
