Our home is perched on the Western edge of Kalispell with an Eastern view of the mountains and valley. Our quiet, rural neighborhood is located just 3 miles from Kalispell amenities and the new US 93 Bypass. We are 4 miles from Historic Downtown Kalispell shopping, eating and entertainment. We are less than 30 minutes from shopping and skiing in Whitefish, less than 60 minutes to Glacier National Park, and less than 10 minutes to Rebecca Farm.
We would like to offer you our refreshingly understated open concept 90's rancher with daylight basement and amazing view. You will see that mid century danish modernism has inspired much of the furnishing throughout this 2480 square foot home. Bare flooring throughout offers fluidity and cleanliness. There are 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 living areas, laundry room, large back deck, oversized 2 car attached heated garage, RV pad with hook-up and 1-1/2 acre with 1 acre being fenced/cross fenced with grazing sheep throughout the summer.
All sleeping areas (pillows and mattresses) are completely sealed in water/allergen/dust/bug proof encasement's that then have a removable topper that is changed along with the linens AND blankets after EVERY guest. We do this to ensure everyone's health and comfort as well as the health of our home. *We have a queen airbed with topper & all the appropriate linens for a maximum sleeping capacity of 9 persons.*
There is reliable WiFi and soft water throughout our home. We provide a stocked refrigerator as well as dry goods; these groceries may be customized in regards to brand, flavor, etc. There are freshly laundered linens, a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash & lotion, and toilet paper (moist wipes & traditional paper) in all 3 bathrooms.
THE MAIN LEVEL front entry opens into the eat-in kitchen with seating for six as well as the kitchen counter/bar with seating for three. Appliances in the kitchen include: Reverse osmosis purified water at the sink, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, gas range/oven, microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee brewer, coffee grinder, blender, mixer, griddle and crock pot. We have place settings for twelve; which consists of pure white dinner, salad and snack plates as well as large and small bowls. Stainless steel flatware, clear stemmed and stemless water glasses and dessert cups with spoons. There are stainless steel pots, pans and utensils as well as various storage, serving and measuring items. The entry bathroom has a corner shower, toilet and sink. Our family room has abundant natural light, a 55" smart TV (cable/WiFi/DVD), a writing desk and an AM/FM radio. In the master bedroom we have a queen Tempur-Pedic memory foam mattress on adjustable Serta massage base, romantic lighting and full length mirror. In the master bath there is a shower, walk-in closet, double sink and toilet.
THE DOWN STAIRS daylight basement family room also has abundant natural light, another 55" smart TV (cable/WiFi/DVD), a full size sleeper sofa, kids activity table for 4, Total Gym Fit and a vintage boombox with over 100 cassettes. The large 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and room for the queen airbed and large mirrors. The small 3rd bedroom has a twin bed and full length mirror. The third bathroom has a shower/bathtub combo, sink and toilet. Our laundry room has an HE washer/dryer set, an ironing board/iron, clothing steamer and detergent/dryer sheets. There are also books and various toys in the laundry room cupboard.
The front of our property offers ample paved parking with area for an RV as well as the hook up. Through the oversized double attached heated garage you can go directly into the house or out to the large back deck. On the deck (during summer months), we have a large propane griddle for outdoor cooking in quantity, an open flame chimenea, a small briquettes barbecue and seating for 8.
This all sits on 1-1/2 acre of rural land....that is to say that the yard is always a work in progress and shouldn't be confused with a "lawn". Though maintained, it is a weed/grass mix that dies out during hot months. The back yard has vinyl picket fencing on three sides and is cross fenced separate from the field which has vinyl three rail lined with graduated wire. We usually have sheep in the bottom portion of the field throughout the summer months. Winter months require a four-wheel or all-wheel drive vehicle.
